THE FACTORY

The Aftermath factory was established in 2000 as a state of the art manufacturing facility featuring the most advanced surfboard manufacturing in the industry.

Technology: Every step in our production process leads the industry in manufacturing standards. Ian Wright has been instrumental in developing this technology for the Aftermath label while the rest of the industry tries to catch up to him.

We consistently have the most advanced 3DM CNC/Shape 3D shaping technology available to design, cut ,and scan all of our top shapes.  For physical production we feature a controlled extraction system in the lamination and hot-coating rooms and a temperature controlled curing room for advanced composite technologies.

Materials: At Aftermath only the highest grade materials are utilized! As board prices skyrocket due to ever increasing raw material costs we bring you the most advanced and proven material technologies available so you get the highest quality product possible.

Polyurethane Blanks: Aftermath uses blanks exclusively provided by South Coast Foam of Australia.  Their blank technology is far superior to any other blank manufacturer in both strength, weight and durability.

Expanded polystyrene (EPS) Blanks: Only US blanks EPS molded cores are used for advanced composite technology boards.

Production: At Aftermath we do not aspire to be a high volume mass marketed surf label.  We keep our production limited and are committed to delivering quality to every surfer.  Our goal is stay true to our core following and deliver the best quality custom surfboards on the market.  We don't waste money on Massive marketing campaigns or pay people to ride our boards.  Surfers ride Aftermath boards because they choose to, and keep riding our boards because we give them what they want.  Expert shaping technology, high grade materials, superior performance and unmatched product durability.

Turnaround: FAST. We build all of our custom boards in less than 4 weeks.
